Set up VPN on your device!

Please use the following guides to set up and use VPN on your devices:



Cisco AnyConnect (Works in IRAN)

  1. Download and install the native Cisco AnyConnect application from here.
  2. Install and launch the application from the Start Menu.
    • Server Address: uk-1.vpnsvr.com
    • Click "Connect".
    • Now enter your Username (1234) and tap on “OK“. Enter your Password (1234) and tap on “OK”.

  1. Download and install the native Cisco AnyConnect application from Google Play:
  2. Launch the app, tap Connections, tap “+” sign and fill in the following configuration:
    • Descriptions: give it any name you prefer. (i.e. VPNSVR).
    • Server Address: uk-1.vpnsvr.com
    • Tap "DONE".
    • Now press the back button on your Android and you can see that a VPN profile has been created. Tap on "AnyConnect VPN" to turn it on.
    • Now enter your Username (1234) and tap on “OK“. Enter your Password (1234) and tap on “OK”.
  3. Your VPN will be “Connected” shortly.

  1. Install the Cisco AnyConnect app from the Apple App Store:
  2. Launch the app, and tap on the “Connections” line, where the app says “No Connections.” then tap, “Add VPN Connection.”:
    • Description: VPNSVR
    • Server Address: uk-1.vpnsvr.com
    • Tap “Save”.
    • On the “AnyConnect Would Like to Add VPN Configurations” popup, tap “Allow”.
    • Enter your iPhone passcode to add VPN Configurations.
    • Back on the AnyConnect screen, slide the “AnyConnect” VPN slider to “On” (green).
    • Now enter your Username (1234) and tap on “OK“. Enter your Password (1234) and tap on “OK”
  3. Your VPN will be “Connected” shortly.

IKEv2

  1. Open the Control panel by clicking the start menu icon and typing control.
  2. Click Network and Internet followed by Network and Sharing Centre.
  3. Click Setup a new connection or network.
  4. Click Connect to a workplace, then click Next.
  5. Click Use my Internet connection (VPN).
  6. Enter the address of the server: us105.vpnsvr1.xyz
  7. Below that give the connection a name e.g. VPNSVR-USA.
  8. Choose Remember my credentials if you don't want to enter your account ID and password every time you connect.
  9. Click Create to continue.
  10. The VPN connection is now created but we still need to configure it. Open the Network and Sharing Centre as shown in steps 1 and 2.
  11. Click Change Adapter settings.
  12. Right click the icon with the name of the connection you created and with the text WAN Miniport (IKE v2)
  13. Select the Security tab and change the Type of VPN to IKEv2 and the data encryption to Maximum strength encryption (disconnect if server declines)
  14. Under Authentication select
  15. Use Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) and Microsoft: Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) (encryption enabled).
  16. Select the Networking tab, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties.
  17. Click on Advanced…
  18. On the IP Setting tab, make sure that “Use default gateway on remote network” and “Automatic metric” are selected.
  19. Right click the icon with the name of the connection you created again and select Create shortcut. Click Yes to create a shortcut on the desktop.
  20. Search for VPN settings in the search field on the Taskbar or in the Start menu. Click VPN settings in the results list.
  21. Click the VPN connection created in step #6 above and click the Advanced options button.
  22. Under Connection properties>, click the Edit button.
  23. Enter your VPNSVR username and password (Username: 1234 Password: 1234)
  24. Change the VPN Type to IKEv2, then click the Save button. Close all of the windows that have been opened during this process.
  25. To Connect, click your Task Bar Network Icon, then Click the name of the VPNSVR connection and then Connect.
  26. After a few seconds the network applet should indicate that you are connected to the VPN server.
Android Device

  1. Download and install the native strongSwan android application from Google Play:
  2. Launch the app, click on the Add VPN Profile button and fill in the following configuration:
    • Server: us105.vpnsvr1.xyz
    • VPN Type: IKEv2 EAP (Username/Password).
    • Username: 1234
    • Password: 1234
    • CA certificate: check Select automatically.
    • Profile name: give it any name you prefer. (i.e. VPNSVR-USA).
    • Hit Save.
  3. You have successfully created a new VPN profile. Tap on it to connect or disconnect.

  1. On your iOS device, navigate to Settings -> VPN and click on the Add VPN Configuration button.
  2. Enter the following configuration:
    • Type: IKEv2
    • Description: give it any name you prefer. (i.e. VPNSVR-USA).
    • Server: us105.vpnsvr1.xyz
    • Remote ID: same as the Server field
    • Local ID: empty
    • User Authentication type: Username
    • Username: 1234
    • Password: 1234
    • Proxy settings - Off
  3. Tap Done to finalize the setup.
  4. Your newly created VPN configuration is now available. Tap on the switch button to connect or disconnect.
macOS Device

macOS Device


  1. In the dock click System Preferences.
  2. In System Preferences click Network.
  3. In Network click the + symbol on the bottom left.
  4. Select Interface VPN.
  5. Select VPN Type IKEv2.
  6. Give this a Service Name to identify it by and click Create (i.e. VPNSVR-USA).
  7. In Network fill in the Server Address: us105.vpnsvr1.xyz
  8. The Remote ID should be the same as the Server Address.
  9. Click Authentication Settings .... Select Username. Fill in your VPNSVR username and password:
    • Username: 1234
    • Password: 1234
  10. Click OK.
  11. In Network click Apply.
  12. To connect, in network click on the adaptor created above then click Connect.
